Derek comes from a Freelance background as a UX consultant, helping brands big and small improve their customer-facing facades and improving experiences through innovative tech structures. He’s been at Avant for two years now, developing and maintaining the UX strategy for credit cards, lending and banking experiences. He’s a big believer in the Jobs to be Done framework, and in this interview he shares with Adam his strategies for that approach.
